Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with Fab Five Design! If you purchase an item from our store front and need a refund, you can visit us and received store credit. 

There are no refunds or returns for Laser SVG Files. If you have an issue with a file, please contact Sara directly and she can help you! 

All Kids Camp and Kids Make sales are final--and a credit for the amount paid will be issued if your child cannot attend for illness. The amount issued must be used within a year. 

Fab Five Design: Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Fab Five Design, we prepare for your visit with intention. When you reserve a project or a seat, we set aside specific materials and tools just for you. We understand life happens, and we ask that you respect our studio’s time and preparation.

1. The Maker (Level 1: Drop-In)

Since no pre-payment or reservation is required for our standard drop-in projects, there is no cancellation fee. We just look forward to seeing you whenever our doors are open!

2. The Reserved Maker (Level 2: 3-Day Notice)

  • Cancellations made 48+ hours in advance: You will receive a full refund of your project price and the $10 reservation fee.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours: We will issue you a Studio Credit for the full amount. This allows us to keep your project kit ready for your next visit.

3. The Custom Maker (Level 3: 1-Week Notice)

  • Design & Proofing Phase: Once we have begun the custom design process and sent your digital proof, the $10 personalization fee is non-refundable.

  • Fabrication Phase: Because Level 3 projects are custom-cut with names, dates, or specific quotes, they cannot be refunded or exchanged once you have approved the digital proof.

  • Rescheduling: If you cannot make your scheduled studio time, we are happy to hold your pre-cut custom project for up to 30 days.

4. Upstairs at Fab Five (Private Rentals)

  • Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to your event.

  • Partial Refund: Cancellations made 2–6 days prior will receive a 50% refund or full Studio Credit.

  • No Refund: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable, as we have already staffed and prepared the space for your arrival.

5. Material Character

We work with natural wood, stone, and slate. Small variations in grain, knots, or texture are not considered defects—they are the "fingerprints" of nature that make your handmade piece unique.
